Are these texts intended for translation or replacement? YES, should be replaced by its translation according to the language selected. If so, where are they stored, where should the translation be stored? It should be inserted to Pootle and translated via Pootle (translation.cacert.org), I can translate them, but I do not know the replace mechanism. |
|
@alkas: Of course, these texts should be translated. And I can help with translations for German, French and possibly Italian. My questions were meant more in principle: - Were these texts intended for translation when the site was created, i.e. are the relevant technical foundations in place? - If this is the case, where are they actually stored? (They should be in pootle, of course; but there is also software where strings are stored in github or similar, for example) |

When the site was created, these texts didn't exist. They are a part of update the website, and thus should be treated as other texts on that page, which are already translated (via Pootle). I do not know the mechanism of how translated texts replace the English texts, So I cannot say where (and whether) the translated text are duplicitly saved. However, it must work for texts which were not changed, and are located on the same page. |
