| Summary | 0000131: Move Root Certificate from under Miscellaneous to own category on front page | ||||
| Description | Currently the link to download the CAcert root class1 and class3 certificates are buried under "Miscellaneous" on the main page, seven items down. Especially since the class1 and class3 certs aren't included in Windows, Firefox, or Opera, the link to download the root certificates should be "loud and proud" on the front page. My suggestion is to either have it as its own main link, or as part of the "Join CAcert" header, like this: Join CAcert Join Root Certificates It should also be plural, since CAcert has both class1 and class3 certs now. Currently, to get the root certs you need to expand Miscellaneous, and pick it out from this list: Miscellaneous CAcert News Howto Information Wiki Documentation Bug Database CAcert Logos CAcert Statistics Root Certificate CRL RSS News Feed Credits CAcert Board I stipulate that for a user who has come to the cacert.org website looking for information, giving them easy access to the root certs is more important than the link to "CAcert Logos". | ||||
