Summary | 0000255: Mantis email interface is not RFC compliant
Description | I am a firm believer that standards should be followed with respect to email. However I have found because of using the rfc-ignorat.org service that cacert.org is not compliant. Vis-à-vis the following from my logs: Jun 3 13:28:53 dsl sendmail[12422]: k53HSr9L012422: ruleset=check_rcpt, arg1=<gerry@pathtech.org>, relay=druantia.cacert.org [202.87.16.200], reject=550 5.7.1 <gerry@pathtech.org>... You do not accept bounces violating RFC 821/2505/2821 http://www.rfc-ignorant.org/ Jun 3 13:28:54 dsl sendmail[12422]: k53HSr9L012422: from=<admin@example.com>, size=885, class=0, nrcpts=0, bodytype=8BITMIME, proto=ESMTP, daemon=MTA, relay=druantia.cacert.org [202.87.16.200] I recommend that this be fixed.

Is this a general mantis problem or just a cacerts' mailserver related problem? |
|
I would guess that it is specifically related to the mailserver used by mantis. I have had no problems with cacert.org mailing lists. |
