| Description | My certificates where about to expire, so I logged in to cacert.org using IE8 and renewed my certificates. When I ended up on the page where the button to install the renewed certificate is, I pushed the button 'Install your certificate' is. The result was a VBScript error: Certificate installation failed! (Error code 438) --- After some fooling around ---- Ah! ActiveX was disabled. Now activated. After activating ActiveX, I got the error message that is presented in the picture CaCert_1.png Text goes like: CertEnroll:CX509Enrollment::InstallResponse: A certificate chain processed, but terminated in a root certificate which is not trusted by the trust provider 0x800b0109 (-2146762487) I installed the root certificate from the main page prior to installing the personal certificate. Any resolution to the problem? | ||||
